What is your cancellation policy?
We do not offer refunds. However, you may apply your payment towards a future class if you are unable to participate in the one you enrolled in.
What is the minimum number of students you need for off-site classes?
We require at least 5 and by law, we cannot teach more than 9 per class for American Heart Association programs. If you don’t have 5, we still require payment for 5 students. Please email us to schedule a class at your location. We will need at least 2 weeks advance notice.
Are the books included in the cost of the course?
Yes. The books and the certification cards are included in the cost. You will receive the books on the day of the course. If you would like to pick up your book in advance, please contact us to make arrangements.
How old do you have to be to take CPR?
There is no mandatory age requirement, but we believe at least 10 years old. You need to have enough strength to compress the chest of an adult of at least 2” in depth. If you think your child that is younger than 10 can do that, then that’s fine!
How long is the certification cards valid for?
The American Heart Association & ASHI cards are valid for two years from the date of your course. The American Heart Association cards will be mailed to you approximately one week after the course. However, a letter indicating successful completion will be provided at the class to give to your employer if needed.
I don’t use Paypal, can I pay cash at the time of the class?
Sure. That’s fine, just email us and let us know. We need your name and contact information and class selection.
What should we wear?
Please dress comfortably. You will be doing compressions on the floor. If you have problems with your knees, you might want to bring a pillow or blanket. The floor is carpeted, and the class environment is very relaxed, so you will have a great time!
